GLOWING TEXT

1. Create a new 200 x 100 pixel image. Let the background be black.
2. Using the Type tool, create a text layer. Choose a bold font preferrably for better results. Type in any word.

3. Now using the Magic Wand tool, select your text area

4. Now choose Select > Modify > Expand

5. A new screen will pop up. Now for the moment, choose expand by 5 pixels.

6. Now fill in the new selected area with a new color, preferrably a bright one.

7. Now choose Select > Modify > Contract.

8. A new screen will pop up. Now for the moment, choose contract by 3 pixels.

9. Now fill in the selected area with your background color. Voila! There you go. Your new glowing text is done!
